"Gladwin" Medieval man-at-arms Acrylic painting on 24 X 30 inch canvas $400
I was painting a series of art on painted black canvas. 4 pieces were animals (see my Fox & Wolf) and 4 were of people. All had eyes looking at the the viewer of the art.
I had loosely painted this man onto the canvas from my imagination. I was disappointed with the composition of the man's head, I had left too much space at the top of the canvas. I decided he had to have some type of hat, head covering or big hair. I came up with this idea. Then I changed his face to a more rugged look and added a few scars.
